Hope you remember the news that we shared with you in early December that Ms. Kanthi D. Suresh is burning the midnight oil as she is set to launch a new channel dedicated to Politics, and the channel would be called; ‘Power News’.

Off late, we got to know that like Power Sportz, Power News’ tagline has also been coined and the tagline of new channel would be: “The Opinion you Believe”. Not only Ms. Kanthi has coined the tagline for the new channel, but the latest buzz is that – work at Power Sportz office has begun at breakneck speed.

Channel has started recruiting reporters at Pan India level. Besides, the new studio look for Power News has been finalized; however, it would take some time to get into a 24×7 news operation.

However, the lady seems in no mood to wait any further. According to an insider, the Power Talk series is going to begin shortly. And we assume like her flagship show ‘Talking Turkey with Kanthi’ for Power Sportz, something similar is going to happen in Power Talk as well. The only difference would be of the subject. Talking Turkey with Kanthi is about sports and as per our understanding, Power Talk would be discussing opinions on the burning issues, at National, International & regional level.

And the cherry on the cake is – Power Talk will also be anchored by Ms. Kanthi D Suresh! 

However, it is still not clear whether ‘Power Talk with Kanthi’, would be featured daily or on a weekly basis like Talking Turkey with Kanthi. For that we still need to wait and watch, but I am sure the wait is not going to be long!

Going by Talking Turkey with Kanthi, we strongly feel that Power News will live up to its tag line – ‘the Opinion you believe’!
