Currently the epicenter of the hip-hop industry, Atlanta serves as home for many of the biggest names in rap right now. More artists and music tycoons seem to emerge from the Georgia capital daily who are looking to leave their mark on the world of hip-hop. One young Atlanta native, however, is looking to attack the industry both as a businessman and as a producer. This is Brauch Owens, otherwise known as Brxuch.
Born and raised in Atlanta, Owens has made the city and its culture his place of business. As an entrepreneur, Owens focuses on social media strategy and marketing in the music industry. Crafting media agencies from scratch at only 19 years of age, Owens has become recognized for his work ethic and quality of performance across the nation, even catching the eyes of A-list rappers, including fellow Atlanta native Future. However, as seems natural for the young mogul, Owens felled the need to pursue another passion of his and carve a path for himself in the other side of the music industry as an artist.
By way of his moniker, Brxuch, Owens has been making music in some capacity since the age of 14, as a therapeutic attempt to work through the emotions he was feeling. It was until recently that the 19-year-old decided he could make a real attempt at success in the music world. “My passion was always music, I always left my actual work to create and make music that makes me feel outside of the world,” Owens shares. He continues, “Through encouragement by other famous musicians I decided to pursue my career in music, and I love it!” With a new album in the works, Owens is pursing his music with the same mindset as his business. Spending his days writing and his nights recording, the new music soon to be released by Brxuch will be his most impressive to date. “I want people to feel a connection and have my songs make them think,” he says.
