Electrifying deal: Electra will participate in building Tesla’s electric vehicle manufacturing factory for 70 million euros

Electra M&E Poland signed a deal to perform electro-mechanical work in its first factory in Europe for Elon Musk’s electric vehicle giant; the factory is currently being constructed near Berlin, intended to manufacture the Tesla Model Y.

An intriguing deal for the Electra Group in Europe. Electra M&E Poland signed an agreement to carry out electro-mechanical work for Tesla, the electric vehicle giant established and managed by Elon Musk, who holds about 20% of its share capital.

Electra will carry out work in Tesla’s electric vehicle manufacturing plant, which is currently being built outside Berlin, for 70 million euros. Tesla’s fourth plant globally and the first in Europe.

This innovative factory is set to manufacture the Tesla Model Y and will be one of the most advanced of its kind in the field of electric vehicle manufacturing. Electra’s Polish subsidiary, Electra M&E Polska, specializes in systems for automotive companies across Europe and regards the new agreement with Tesla as an achievement that will bring it a step closer to positing itself as a leading player.

Recently, Electra M&E Polska, completed electro-mechanical work for an overall value of about 65 million euros for several leading car companies, including Volkswagen factories in Poland and Germany; an Audi factory established in Ingolstadt, Germany, and a Mercedes engine factory in western Poland, as well as service contracts for Volkswagen in Poland.
