Google and Oppo have strengthened their partnership to enhance the AI capabilities of Oppo’s upcoming Reno14 series by integrating Google’s Gemini AI.
OPPO 14 Series Gemini AI Integration
The Reno 14 and Reno 14 Pro, which come with integrated Google Gemini AI technology, were introduced by OPPO in China. With only one voice command, users can do activities in native apps like Notes, Calendar, and Clock thanks to this connectivity. Gemini may be used to take notes, check schedules, and set reminders by holding down the side button, which is probably the power button. Furthermore, Gemini chat provides a smooth AI-powered experience on the Reno 14 series by allowing users to retrieve information and finish activities immediately with a single prompt.
Display
The Oppo Reno 14 5G and Oppo Reno 14 Pro 5G have 6.59-inch and 6.83-inch 1.5K flat OLED screens, respectively, in their Chinese variants.
Memory and Storage
The MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset is used in the Pro model, while the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 SoC is used in the base models. The phones have up to 1TB of UFS 3.1 internal storage and up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM.
Camera System
In terms of optics, the Oppo Reno 14 5G series features triple rear camera units with 50 megapixels that support OIS. These units include 50 megapixel periscope cameras and 50 megapixel selfie cameras.
Charging Support
Both phones have in-display fingerprint sensors and 80W wired fast charging.
Battery Capacity
The batteries of the base and Pro models are 6,000mAh and 6,200mAh, respectively.
Oppo Reno 14 Series: Launch Date
OPPO intends to introduce the Reno 14 series to the Indian market shortly after its launch in China. The business hasn’t yet disclosed the precise launch date for India, though.
