Interview With Mehrdad Tahmasebi, A Famous Iranian Footballer Who Plays In The Persian Gulf League

Mehrdad Tahmasebi was born on 10 September 1985 in Behshahr.

This goalkeeper started his career in Pas Tehran and then played in Etka Golestan, Nasaji, Kaveh Tehran, Sabai Qom, Tractorsazi, Khuzestan Foolad, Naft Masjid Sulaiman, Badran, Nasaji Mazandaran and Saipa, respectively, and currently he playing on Havadar club.

The golden era of this player was in famous teams like Foolad.

The most interesting event in the career of this tall and tall goalkeeper was the goal he scored from his own 18-yard area when he was in Saipa, which is a unique example of this goal in Asia.

Tahmasebi is considered one of the most experienced goalkeepers in Iran’s Premier League.

Mehrdad Tahmasebi said about his current situation in the Hawadar team: I was in Saipa last year and I wanted to return to the Premier League so that I could help myself and the Havadar team, and that’s why I made this decision.

He continued: “There is a very good atmosphere and I have many motivations so that I can perform my best if I stand in the goal.”  Anyway, the goalkeeping position is such that the further you go, the more experienced you become, and I think I can have one of my best football years.

Tahmasebi reminded: I hope we will have a good year with the fan team and in the end, I and the fan group will be proud.  Being in this team is an interesting experience for me and I try to use it in the best possible way.
