YouTube AI has improved smart TV viewing

YouTube has taken a big step toward increasing the interactivity of home viewing by extending its conversational AI tool to smart TVs. Voice-enabled questions allow viewers to interact with content straight from their television screens.

The function is easy to use. While watching a video, viewers can select the ‘Ask’ option and engage their remote’s microphone button to interact with the AI. In real time, users can inquire about related content or a creator’s repertoire, and new users can be guided via prompts.

The application was first made available on mobile and online platforms last year, and it soon developed into a useful tool for more in-depth content interaction. It is already being used by users to analyze podcasts, travel, and comprehend content without pausing videos.

YouTube’s efforts to turn passive viewing into an engaging experience are strengthened by its expansion to smart TVs. AI-driven features are increasingly influencing living room entertainment, with real-time support being built right into the biggest screen in the house.
