Pallu Gupta, Redefining the social services

Age is just a number, this quote has been proved right by Shubham Gupta alias pallu gupta who was inspired by shahid Bhagat Singh and his sacrifices and contribution at such a young age. The ideas and philosophy of pacifism which was adopted by Shahid Bhagat Singh during his last times & Meerut which was the center of Independence movement of 1857 has been deeply ingrained in people’s mind the ideas of revolt and change. These inspirations led to the founding of Angry Youth NGO which culminates the ideas of both historical events with the slogan “The pacifism leading by anger”.

Angry Youth has head office in Meerut and branches in cities like Kanpur, Agra, Mujaffarpur, Surat etc.

It is almost 10 years since Pallu gupta has been involved in social services and a lot has been achieved by him during this period.

He has organised more than 400 social events like Food drives, Ration donation drives, clothes donation drives, awareness programs, plantation events, health care events. During Corona pandemic he along with his team fed more than 1200 migrants workers and needy people on the daily basis. Many of the media houses and other social organisations have honoured him for his contribution towards society.

He is the founder as well as the National president of the Angry youth. He is an advocate by profession and want to be an IPS officer to make sure his part in the justice of the victims. There were many challenges have been faced by him during the last 10 years and one of them is to convince people to get indulged in social services and the other challenge was monetary arrangements for the NGO in starting phase. Another challenge was to balance the studies and the social service at the same time.

He started alone but now more than 1000 youth are indulged in the social services directly and indirectly with him. As the famous poet Majhrooh Sultanpuri said “Main akela hi chala tha janib-e-manzil magar Log saath aate gaye aur karwaan banta gaya” is best quote fits on him. The best thing he think he earned is the respect and honour he gets from his social services.
