Dublin Institute Raises €3M to Train Business Leaders
To support its continued expansion as a supplier of boardroom education in Europe and beyond, Irish EdTech firm The Corporate Governance Institute, an e-learning and certification platform, has closed a €3 million fundraising round.
BVP Ireland, a multi-asset investment platform that offers a variety of financing options to businesses at different phases of the business life cycle, led the round. Private investors and Enterprise Ireland are additional investors.

The Corporate Governance Institute was established in 2020 with the goal of being a pioneer in the training and certification of corporate executives and boardroom directors. According to the Institute, meaningful advancement, innovation, transformation, and sustainable growth are all significantly accelerated by effective governance.
providing a portfolio of short-form courses, diplomas, and certificates that are supported by university certification and are taught using a practitioner-led manner. The goal of the Institute is to enable a new generation of leaders to gain strategic, long-term competitive advantage by democratizing access to director-level training.
The organization has added subjects including digital governance, artificial intelligence, and ESG to its list of offerings in recent years. The “largest curated library of governance-related education in the world” is currently housed there. The additional cash will allow it to continue expanding into foreign markets and expanding its course selection.
Their global alumni community includes companies like HSBC, Google, PWC, BDP, NHS, and Sumup.
Employers, educators, industry influencers, boardroom executives, and pedagogical specialists make up their Governance Advisory Council. Their goal is to ensure that the “latest and best thinking in corporate governance” is included in accredited director training programs.
