Euno Obtains $6.25 Million in Seed Money For Data Model Governance Platform

Israeli data company Euno said on Tuesday that it is offering a dynamic governance solution for data teams at large and scale-up enterprises and that it has raised $6.25 million in Seed funding. Notable angel investors Barr Moses (co-founder and CEO of Monte Carlo), Lior Gavish (co-founder and CTO of Monte Carlo), and Yoni Broyde (former CEO and co-founder of Alooma) participated in the round led by 10D with participation from INT3.

In 2023, Eyal Firstenberg and Sarah Levy launched Euno. Firstenberg, a co-founder and CTO, had developed LightCyber (which Palo Alto Networks later purchased), while Levy, a co-founder and CEO, had previously worked as CTO at Sight Diagnostics. Levy and Firstenberg are also veterans of the Israeli Defense Forces. Levy was formerly the chief of the Israel Defense Forces’ cybersecurity division, while Firstenberg was an officer in Unit 8200 of the Israeli Intelligence Corps.

The Euno platform optimizes centralized modeling governance to promote uniformity throughout an organization while assisting business analysts in utilizing their knowledge of business intelligence (BI) and structured query language (SQL) tools for quick delivery of data products.

With connected BI apps like Looker and Tableau, Euno’s platform recognizes freshly modeled business logic and walks users through the process of incorporating these logical elements into the shared data model (also known as “shift left”). New logic must be found, code must be automatically generated to capture it at the data layer, and updates must be synchronized back to BI applications. This guarantees that the business logic of an organization has a central, coordinated source of truth.

“Based on conversations with more than 250 data teams, we discovered they struggle to foster a self-service data analytics culture as they scale. What surprised us was the root cause – data model governance solutions haven’t caught up with the modern data stack. Organizations deal with collaboration bottlenecks, data inconsistencies, and soaring costs,” said Sarah Levy, co-founder and CEO at Euno. “Eager to solve this problem, we’ve assembled a world-class team of engineering and data analytics professionals. Our mission is clear – to untangle the toughest knots for data teams and give peace of mind to organizations with their data governance. No matter how fast the company scales.”
