General Motors’ brand-new limited-edition Hummer Omega Edition is designed to be out of this world starting at $140,000

The Omega Edition, a limited-edition 2024 GMC Hummer electric pickup, and SUV, is offered by General Motors. According to the company, demand will soar.

The price tag is without a doubt outrageous. The Omega Edition pickup begins at $149,995 for a 24-module battery and the SUV, with a 20-module battery, will begin at $139,995. Neptune Blue Matte paint is only available on these two. GMC hopes that customers will switch from the regular Hummer EVs to the Omega Edition.

According to a statement released by Duncan Aldred, global vice president of Buick-GMC, “The Hummer EV is one of the hottest vehicles on the market today, and it just got even more desirable with the striking and strictly limited Omega Edition.”

After production stalled last year due to a recall, GM provided two Hummers during the first quarter. GM does not specify the number of Omega Editions it will produce. The edition will be produced in the first half of next year and is initially available to reservation holders of Hummer EV 3X pickup and SUV models.

The Omega Edition’s standard features include the following:

Extreme Off-Road Package
Black exterior badges and transparent sky panels
Exclusive high lux carpet flooring insert
MultiPro tailgate audio speaker system by Kicker (Pickup only)
Exclusive Neptune Blue Matte spare tire cover (SUV only)

A nod to the Hummer’s space-themed inspiration is the Omega Edition. Designers and engineers named it a “moonshot” vehicle — they were going for the moon while planning it.

The GMC Sierra EV Denali Edition 1 pickup will soon also begin production at GM’s Factory Zero Detroit-Hamtramck Assembly, where the Hummer EVs are built.
