Since starting his Instagram page, he has now accumulated over 70,000 followers. Today we chat with him on how he got started & his journey…

When did you start your Instagram page?

I started my Instagram page just for fun, It was back in 2013 when I left my homeland and moved to London.

How did you get into blogging?

I was following a few well-known travel bloggers and I was really inspired by them. So I thought why don’t give a try and start writing my own blog. I was already traveling a lot for leisure, especially for weekends.

When did your page start to grow?

I think that the hype for my page was when I quit my job to follow my dream of becoming a travel blogger, it was June 2018. I didn’t know exactly how I was going to support myself financially whilst traveling but I was determinate to change my lifestyle and leave my comfort zone.

What is the most rewarding part of blogging?

I’d say the opportunity to explore new places and travel unconditionally. Doesn’t matter if it’s a Monday or Sunday, escaping the routine is certainly the most rewarding thing for me.

Do you consider yourself an entrepreneur?

I’m definitely an entrepreneur. Creativity is the key to support myself financially after I quit my job and my comfort zone. I personally manage over 7 types of businesses at the moment.

Do you do more brand collaborations on Instagram Feed or Instagram Stories?

I’d say in the beginning Brands were investing more on Instagram Feed Post but lately, with algorithms change the videos and stories became the focus of the market and therefore Brands are now investing more in that.

A lot of people hate influencers. What kind of feedback do you get from the industry?

I personally don’t really care about haters but I’m aware of them. I think once you decide to expose yourself to the public is normal that there will be people disliking you or what you do. It’s not only applying to Influencers, But It also happens with any public profile from singers to tv presenters.

What goals do you have for 2020?

I would like to visit a few places such as Bora Bora and LA and make my new business, Lux Travel Official, a well-known tour agency.

What has been your favorite brand collaboration so far?

That’s a hard one! I personally love all the Brands I’ve been collaborating with because I’m accepting only Brands that I really like and feel to share with my audience but if I have to choose one I’d say Daniel Wellington.

What advice do you have for an aspiring blogger?

Take the risk and be yourself always, don’t let others choose for you. Be determinate and self-motivated whatever dream you are pursuing.

What has being a blogger taught you about branding and marketing? What are your three best marketing and branding tips?

I really think that the marketing world is never-ending when it comes to branding you need always to consider these 3 tips:

– be trendy but not like everyone

– be smart and think fast before someone else gets there

– never give up
