On June 30, 2022, Beijing time, a giant publicity photo of the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong’s return to China was displayed on the big screen of NASDAQ in Times Square in New York, the United States. Five posters showed the significance of Hong Kong people celebrating the return with one heart and looking forward to the future

At the same time, 29 Chinese wearing red T-shirts and hats, holding the Chinese national flag, the Hong Kong SPECIAL Administrative Region flag ,celebrated the return of Hong Kong under the big screen of NASDAQ, with two people leading celebratory songs.

Last 25 years, equaling to a quarter of a century, witness the difficult journey of Hong Kong. But now when adversity comes, Hong Kong, with motherland China standing behind, is no longer alone, which is different to what happened 25 years ago.

With the support of the motherland China, Hong Kong has overcome various difficulties and regained stability and prosperity by enacting the Law on Safeguarding National Security in the HKSAR, improving the electoral system of the HKSAR, and ensuring that patriots administering Hong Kong. The motherland  China and Hong Kong will always be together. They will not and cannot be separated. The policy of “One Country, Two Systems” will deliver steady and lasting results, and the Pearl of the Orient will be splendid forever.
