Saudi Arabia’s LEAP Award Wins to Kazakh Startup CerebraAI

According to an article published on March 8 by the Ein Presswire, the Kazakh business CerebraAI, which specializes in timely stroke identification, won a $150,000 LEAP award at the annual Rocket Fuel business Pitch Competition in Saudi Arabia.

LEAP is the most popular tech event worldwide, and it takes place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It is coordinated by the Misk Foundation, the Kingdom’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), and the National Technology Development Program of Saudi Arabia (NTDP).

This year, six categories of prizes were given out by a panel of four knowledgeable judges. Doszhan Zhussupov’s CerebraAI won the Artificial Intelligence prizes nomination for showcasing the most innovative and intriguing usage of AI.

The serious problem of stroke, one of the main causes of mortality worldwide, is addressed by the creative growth of the team. CerebraAI is a decision support system powered by artificial intelligence that analyzes millions of patient parameters to provide distinctive diagnostic patterns, helping doctors better understand the needs of their patients.

Creativity, originality, growth potential, functionality, impact on the industry, and societal value were among the factors used to evaluate the project. Twelve of the 100 businesses who made it to the semi-finals advanced to the grand final, where six were awarded cash prizes.

“A huge thank you goes out to the organizers of the LEAP conference for providing a platform that brings together the brightest minds in technology and innovation. Competing against such talented startups and sharing our vision for the future of AI was an incredible experience,” wrote Cerebra on its LinkedIn account.
