From Waldorf, Maryland, Kenny Baden has a story of success anyone could root for. After a car accident, one thing led to another, drug addiction, becoming a convicted felon, and he was left homeless and hopeless with nothing to his name. Despite all that and everyone telling him he couldn’t succeed because of his past, Kenny earned a second chance and now owns a multimillion-dollar business.

The entrepreneur and multi-business owner began his career after college in sales and learned from a talented salesman that would positively impact his future career. But first, before things got better, Kenny fell into recovery from painkiller addiction and was completely broke and homeless five and a half years ago. Turning his life around, Kenny Baden found an opportunity in the roofing and remodeling industry and went on to found his first company, Potomac Custom Remodeling Inc. 

Potomac Custom Remodeling Inc has become a local Maryland go-to for services such as roofing, interior and exterior remodeling, siding, and bathroom/acrylics. The business has expanded its services over the years and added solar energy panel installation and service through another startup of Kenny’s, PCR Solar.

Besides the success of those businesses, Kenny Baden also operates a consulting business, Baden Consulting LLC, and a private Facebook group, Blue Collar Ballers. Baden Consulting offers consulting services to other entrepreneurs looking to start their own gig through the services of PCR Inc., and Blue Collar Ballers strives to be a community that helps not only blue collar businesses and salespeople but other individuals as well by offering everything from business training and sales to life skills and personal development.
