Apple Music Sing is now available

Apple Music Sing, an exciting new feature that lets users sing along to their favorite songs using real-time lyrics and adjustable vocals1, was announced today by Apple. Apple Music Sing integrates multiple lyric views into Apple Music’s unparalleled lyrics experience to assist fans in taking the lead, singing backup, and more. Apple Music Sing makes it fun and simple for anyone to participate, at any time and from any location, thanks to its ever-expanding catalog, which includes tens of millions of songs that are the most singable in the world.

“Apple Music’s lyrics experience is consistently one of the most popular features on our service,” said Oliver Schusser, Apple’s vice president of Apple Music and Beats. “We already know our users all over the world love to follow along to their favorite songs, so we wanted to evolve this offering even further to enable even more engagement around music through singing. It’s really a lot of fun, our customers are going to love it.”

Apple Music Sing is available on iPhone, iPad, and the brand-new Apple TV 4K.

Apple Music Sing comes with:

Adjustable vocals: Vocal levels can now be adjusted by users. On millions of songs in the Apple Music catalog, they can sing with the vocals of the original artist, take the lead, or mix it up.

Real-time lyrics: With animated lyrics that dance to the rhythm of the vocals, users can sing along to their favorite songs.

Background vocals: To make it easier for users to follow, simultaneous vocal lines can animate independently of the main vocals.

Duet view: Duets and tracks with multiple singers can be easily sung along to because multiple vocalists appear on opposite sides of the screen.

Along with the epic songs, duets, choruses, and anthems that have been compelling people all over the world to sing, Apple Music will also launch a suite of more than 50 dedicated companion playlists that are fully optimized for the Apple Music Sing experience.
