The impact Power Sportz has made in the last one year is there for everyone to see. Ever since its launch on May 19^th, 2018, the world’ first sports web TV has made great strides in bringing breathtaking sports content to viewers. 

Under the aegis of Ms. Kanthi D. Suresh, the founder, and editor-in-chief of Power Sportz, the progress this channel made has been disruptive. The average monthly users of Power Sportz have touched a whopping 10 million.

Power Sportz on a roll during its first year

One of the remarkable achievements for Power Sportz in its first year of operations is the unique broadcast of the ICC Cricket World Cup which was a resounding success. International cricket legends like Desmond Haynes, Clive Lloyd, Andy Bichel, Tony Dell, and Gary Cosier associated with Power Sportz for its uninterrupted cricket broadcast. Apart from them, former Indian cricketers like Nayan Mongia, Sadanand Viswanath, Atul Wassan, Vivek Razdan, Vijay Dahia and the youngster Unmukt Chand also participated in live discussions from the studio. 

Power Sportz has signed up with Uber-Careem, the largest ride-sharing company in the Middle-East to share its sports content. Now, the sports content of Power Sportz would be shown as in-ride entertainment to the clients of Uber-Careem throughout the Middle-East and 15 MENA countries. 

It is raining awards at Power Sportz

For thinking out of the box and championing the cause of sports in India via her channel, Kanthi D Suresh has been duly recognized by various entities including the government.

Recently, Kanthi delivered a guest speech at IIT Kanpur on entrepreneurship talking about her inspiring journey as a woman entrepreneur. It was a platform where stalwarts had delivered speeches in the past.

A Haryana Cabinet Minister also awarded her recently for achieving so much singlehandedly and leading a sports channel like Power Sportz.

The weekly sports debate show “Talking Turkey with Kanthi” has also received wide recognition and appreciation from sports lovers. The show, helmed by Kanthi herself has been consistent in exposing various sports issues in the country. 

In a recent Twitter trending related to the show, there was a rumor that Kanthi is all set to receive a Presidential award at a function in Dubai. Although it is not clear who would that President to confer the award, the ceremony is touted to be held in the mid of September. 

So, until then we will wait to know more about this award to Kanthi D Suresh.
