The Asus ROG series always strives to impress with gaming, and it tries to get into the office space too. The Zephyrus G14 is maybe the best unit out of the bunch for those that want a gaming experience and really good value from a business unit standpoint. 

When you see the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14, you will like the fact that it has 14”. This is a trademark that ASUS has and it’s maybe for the better. You have a middleground between 13 and 15 inches, and it looks very well too. There’s no touchscreen, which doesn’t really matter that much considering this is a gaming unit. 

The storage capacity is 1TB SSD, which is actually a very good option for most people. You can upgrade if you want, although you can easily use external SSD storage for files and use the onboard storage only for games. If you use it mostly for office work, the overall storage can be enough. But you might need additional storage if you use this primarily for games.

We like the fact that they went with a white design here. That’s what makes it different to most gaming laptops out there. The Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 is more about class and it has less flashiness when compared to many of the other units you can find in its field. It’s not a perfect unit, but it certainly delivers what it has in mind, and it does that spot on and without a problem.

Asus ROG Zephyrus G14’s battery life is 10 hours, which is impressive for a gaming laptop. Memory-wise. You get 16 GB of DDR4 and the graphics card they offer here is a good one too. They went with the GeForce RT 2060, which we found to be one of the top 2k gaming video cards. Thankfully the laptop has enough power to avoid any bottleneck, so you can end up enjoying the experience and having a lot of fun with it all the time. Also, the processor is a 4900HS, from the 3^rd Ryzen 9 generation. It definitely packs a punch, and it’s great for a vast range of different gaming experiences.

The keyboard is backlit, so you can game during the night without worrying about typing on the wrong key. Plus, everything is tastefully done. You don’t have that fake gaming approach that some units tend to bring to the table, and that’s a good thing. They just wanted to make things a lot more appealing and exciting to use, without rushing you into anything.

Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 is all about performance and it fits well even in the office environment. It’s tasteful, it looks great and it has all the bells and whistles you need from a sophisticated laptop. You will find it very convenient and a pleasure to use, not to mention easy to adapt to your own requirements. If you like high quality laptops, this is certainly one of the top models on the market right now. And aside from the fact that fans can be a bit loud under heavy load, this is a great laptop with a 120Hz display and all kinds of cool features.
